alternate: Bangalore->Tumkur Road->turn left after about 20Kms->Hesarghatta
Food: Nothing much available except expensive food @ Taj Kuteeram
Stay: A few resorts are around. Get to Bangalore for better options

Nothing much to see here. There is an almost dried up lake, a Turkey farm where they sell turkey meat, NrityaGram and some resorts to spend some time and money in.
It's a good 1 day ride if totally jobless!

Hesarghatta used to be lively and phull of water earlier.... see the advantages of being a senior ;)
of course the situation of all beutiful lakes in and around banglaore are in this condition now.. god knows when we will care for preserving them...
Hey, But an early morning walk near the lake is indeed a treat for eyes of beautiful birds for sure.
